Foodbank 2025 Impact Report

Foodbank Queensland’s released their FY25 Impact Report, and they remain proud to reflect on a year that was defined by growth, resilience and deepened impact.


Over the last 12 months, they managed to make significant strides towards their vision of ensuring that no Queenslander goes hungry. They opened 2 new Food Distribution Centres in Brisbane and Townsville, now operating from 3 facilities across the state.


In the last 12 months, Foodbank Queensland delivered 22 million meals, supporting 135,000 people every week. Their School Breakfast Program provided 1.1 million breakfasts in the last 12 months, ensuring 52,000 children were supported every school week. 430 schools are included in this programme. I think another important statistic is that 44% of food provided was fresh fruit and vegetables.


The Farm to Families programme also continues to make a significant contribution, shown below:
